 Watershed Outreach Workshops

Picture
The Watershed Outreach Workshops are intended to inform District Co-Permittees about MS4 general permit requirements and the new Storm Water Management Program Plan implementation.

It is strongly recommended at least one representative from your community attend as there are new MS4 permit requirements that will impact your jurisdiction.

Workshops Goals

EDUCATE

Educate Co-Permittees on the history of the Storm Water District, why it was formed, and the services and structure of the District.

DISCUSS

Provide opportunity for discussion between District Partner Agencies and Co-Permittees on shared responsibilities.

PROMOTE

Promote understanding of District structure, Partner Agency roles and responsibilities, and Co-Permittee roles and Responsibilities.

UPDATE

Educate Storm Water District Co-Permittees on the updated District SWMP plan and seek initial commitments from Co-Permittees on compliance responsibilities, options, and timelines. Each Co-Permittee with a designated TMDL watershed will need to make initial commitment for MS4 permit required projects, that may have financial impacts, to be implemented within their community before 2026.

Meeting Details

We ask that Co-Permittees attend the Watershed Outreach Workshops in the watershed that their jurisdiction lies within, however you may attend a workshop outside of your watershed if it better fits your schedule. Please note that the same information will be presented at each of the meetings.
