The Hamilton County Storm Water District (District) serves all 12 townships and 23 of the 36 municipal corporations within Hamilton County that have elected to become District Co-Permittees.

Certain MS4 permit compliance services are provided to all Co-Permittees by the Hamilton County Storm Water District (District).

- District-wide services, including the preparation of guidance, procedures, plans, suggested regulations manuals, and other information used to establish minimum compliance guidelines.
- Preparation of annual reports and other communications to the Ohio EPA.
- Government facility inspections and housekeeping practice plan development under MCM 6.
- Overall coordination among Co-Permittees and with the general public.
- Public Education and Outreach services under MCM 1, and Public Involvement and Participation services under MCM 2.
- Overall coordination and financial management of District services.
Remaining MS4 permit compliance services are the responsibility of each member Co-Permittee. Co-Permittees may choose for the District to provide these services or provide these services through their own staff or contract service providers. Support services currently provided by the District include: - MS4 mapping, system surveillance, and investigations for illicit discharges, home sewage treatment system inspections, and management under MCM 3.
- Construction and development site plan reviews and inspections under MCMs 4 and 5.
